Fleurs de Villes Femmes: We Brought Eleanor Roosevelt Back To Life

We are so proud to have participated in this year’s Fleurs de Villes floral show – New York’s floral event of the year! Fleurs de Villes FEMMES is dedicated to culturally, politically, and historically significant women throughout the ages. For this year’s show, we created a floral installation of the incredible Eleanor Roosevelt.

One of the world’s most powerful women of her time, Eleanor Roosevelt is remembered for her integral role in drafting the 1946 Universal Declaration of Human Rights. She was the first Chair of the UN Human Rights Commission and served as a U.S. delegate to the UN General Assembly. Married to President Roosevelt, she served as first lady through his 4 terms in office (1933-1945), making her the longest-serving first lady in history.

We saved the best for last: Our Eleanor Roosevelt creation won second place in the BEST IN SHOW category! Visit @rachelchofloral to see how our team reincarnated her “en fleurs”.

Thank you to Fleurs de Villes and Hudson Yards for the incredible show, and thank you to all of you who came to admire our creations. ❤️
